Data Deletion

If you messaged a business that uses Signally

Email us and include:

• the phone number you used on WhatsApp, with country code (for example +91);
• the name of the business you messaged;
• whether you want everything deleted or only specific messages.

The business you messaged decides how your data is used, so we will also let it know about your request.

If you are a business customer

Email us from your account's email address and tell us whether you want specific conversations or contacts deleted, or your whole account closed and all its data deleted: users, conversations, media, contacts and templates stored with us. Deletion cannot be undone, so export anything you need first.

If you connected Signally through Meta

If you connected your WhatsApp Business account to Signally by signing in with Meta, you can remove Signally's access at any time in your Meta Business settings. That stops new data reaching us but does not delete data we already hold, so please also email us to request deletion.

What happens next

1. We confirm receipt within 7 days.
2. We verify the request, so nobody can delete someone else's data. We may ask you to confirm from the same phone number or account email.
3. We delete the data from our systems within 30 days of your request. Copies in encrypted backups are overwritten within a further 30 days.
4. We email you to confirm once deletion is complete.

What we may keep

• Invoices and billing records that Indian law requires us to keep.
• A record that you asked for deletion and when we completed it.

Messages already delivered to a WhatsApp app stay on that phone, and we cannot delete them. Meta handles its own copies under WhatsApp's policies.
